1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, so you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas that you don't want. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.
The design is also more appealing than the other models. It features a sleek, high-end piece that appears like toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System is also self-emptying which will reduce your cleaning time.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't do this. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.
Although it's not as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the j7+ is still a solid option for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you actually see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. This category of bots typically includes a built-in water tank that allows them to vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. floor vacuum robot robotvacuummops come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock produces some of our most loved robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not disappoint. It's their cheapest auto-empty model. While it lacks some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save hundreds of dollars.
The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps on walls and corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It features a large LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for most people, but it's one that will aid in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are among the top available however, it's also expensive.
The base station looks nice and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is quite compact. The station's main selling point is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's the only robovac I've tested that does a good job picking up dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It's not able climb stairs as well as competitors,, and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do it all.
If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides an identical experience on the app with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard floors, as well as mopping capabilities at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be located close to an outlet that has plenty of room to move.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The way the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It uses an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable items that are in its path. It can remember what it has already cleaned and where it cannot access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has similar battery life and performs better on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with an array of boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container does not require emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky material like cereal.
